STUDIO POLICIES + PROCEDURES

  • Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class so you can get settled and ground yourself before your practice.

We are located at 4-4033 New Street in Burlington, ON. Call ‪905-288-7028 or email hello@alignyogawellness.ca with questions.

  • All students are required to sign a waiver before attending their first class. If you didn’t sign a waiver online before booking, please see the front desk to sign the waiver.

  • Please turn off or silence your cell phones (including vibrating) during class. Phones are a distraction to the student’s experience.

  • Late arrivals will not be accepted into class after 2 minutes past the start time. This is to respect the time and experience of our students.

  • Students are asked to be respectful of all in the studio. Rude behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

Be mindful of your noise levels - keep your volume to a minimum to maintain the calm atmosphere of the studio.

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS

  • If you have your own yoga mat and props, feel free to bring them. We have high-quality Manduka mats you can use if you don't have one or forget yours.

  • Bring plenty of water with you to have during class.

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that you can move in. Not too loose or too tight.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

  • We encourage you to let us know of any medical conditions or injuries that you might have, so that we may best serve you in our space.

Please let your teacher know prior to classes so that they can support your practice and ensure an injury-free, safe experience.

  • We do not wear shoes or socks during yoga practice. Please notify the instructor if you prefer to wear socks so they can adjust the practice for your safety.

  • We often diffuse essential oils and/or burn incense + sage in our studio. If you are sensitive to any of these scents, please let us know beforehand and we can accommodate your request.

  • Our studio pup, Mango, is often present at the studio for class. She is a cuddly, itty-bitty Chihuahua with lots of love to give. If you are uncomfortable with dogs, please let us know before attending class. We do not have Mango present for any classes with children, for their safety (although she loves everyone!)

REFUND, NO-SHOW + CANCELLATION POLICIES

  • All Intro Offer sales ($30 for 3 Weeks) are final and not subject to refund after purchase under any circumstances, including non-use, class cancellations, studio closure, or expiration.

    CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW POLICY:

In the event of 2 or more no-shows/ late cancellations in the 3-week period (late cancellation = cancelling less than 12 hours prior to class), a fee of $5 will be charged to the card on file for each missed/late canceled class.

Please un-enroll via our website or Momence app. Cancellations via email or phone will not be accepted.

  • ALL memberships (THRIVE & ALIGN) are final sale and will not be refunded under any circumstances after purchase including non-use, class cancellations, studio closure, or any other reason.

Memberships subject to a minimum 3 month commitment. In the event of a desired membership change or cancellation after that 3 month period, customers are required to inform staff at least 3 days in advance before the existing membership’s renewal date. If staff is not notified at least 3 days in advance of the renewal and existing membership payment is charged to their card, the membership is not subject to a refund under any circumstances.

In the event of a relocation or sudden health concern, customers are required to notify staff at least 3 days before the membership renewal date of a desired change/cancellation of their membership for the following month. Customers in this situation are allowed a grace period of 2 days post-purchase to change or cancel their membership. Sufficient proof of moving/health circumstances is required.

Membership credits (i.e. 8 classes/mo) are not transferrable from month to month, meaning unused passes from the previous month will not roll over to the following month.

    CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW POLICY:

In the event of a no-show or late cancellation (late cancellation = canceling less than 12 hours prior to class), students will be charged a $20 fee. We are a smaller space and, out of respect for those on the waitlist/wanting to attend our fuller, more popular classes, we want there to be as much space for them to join as possible, without any last-minute stress or frustration.

  • Class Passes (10 / 20) are not subject to a refund under any circumstances after purchase - including non-use, expiration (1 year from purchase date), studio closure or class cancellations.

Single-class passes are not subject to a refund under any circumstances, including non-use or expiration. Single class pass charges can be transferred to an Intro Offer purchase or class pass on the day of the first attended class. If transferred, Intro Offer / Class Pass will start on the day of the customer’s first class and that class will count toward the Intro Offer / Class Pass.

  • Retail items are subject to a refund up to 14 days after the purchase date. Only unused and unopened items will be eligible for a refund - no exceptions.
